The Mission of the Gaviota Coastal Trail Alliance is to secure environmentally responsible and socially just public access to beaches along the Gaviota Coast including the establishment of the California Coastal Trail within the sight and sound of the ocean.

 

Our Vision is the completion of the California Coastal Trail and access for all people to beaches along the Gaviota Coast.

 

Our Purpose is to provide critical advocacy to achieve the goals of the California Constitution, Coastal Act and equal protection laws for maximum coastal access and recreation opportunities for all people, balanced with reasonable management policies to protect natural resources.
